Benjamin Sterling Jones
November 03, 1983 - March 13, 2024
Benjamin Jones, may you rest in peace.
Benjamin, unexpectedly passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 40. He leaves behind three brothers, two sisters, and our father. Benjamin was known at a young age as a miracle child.
Many don't know that at the young age of five years old, he was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 6 months to live. Thanks to the great doctors at Eggleston and Emory, he beat cancer against tremendous odds. He went on to become a great baseball player through his childhood, and also enjoyed woodworking. Ben knew how to make everyone around him smile.
Isaiah 25:8: "He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken."
A visitaion will be from 10:00 until 11:00, Thursday, March 21, 2024, followed by an 11:00, memorial service at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with Rev. Jim Giddens officiating.
